Abstract

Mazkur maqolada o‘zbek va ingliz tillarida kompliment ifodalarining lingvopragmatik, struktur-semantik va madaniy xususiyatlari qiyosiy tahlil qilinadi. Kompliment nutqiy akt sifatida suhbatdoshga ijobiy baho berish, ijtimoiy yaqinlikni mustahkamlash, muloqotda samimiylik va xushmuomalalikni yuzaga chiqarish vositasi hisoblanadi. Tadqiqotda komplimentlarning nutqiy akt nazariyasi, xushmuomalalik tamoyillari, approbation va modesty maxsimlari, shuningdek, ijtimoiymadaniy kontekst bilan bog‘liq jihatlari yoritiladi. Ingliz tilida komplimentlar ko‘pincha qisqa, to‘g‘ridan-to‘g‘ri va individual yutuq, tashqi ko‘rinish yoki shaxsiy tanlovga qaratilgan bo‘lsa, o‘zbek tilida komplimentlar ko‘proq hurmat, duo, ijtimoiy maqom, axloqiy fazilat, oila va jamoaviy qadriyatlar bilan bog‘liq holda namoyon bo‘ladi. Maqolada har ikki tildagi komplimentlarning grammatik modellari, leksik-semantik vositalari, pragmatik funksiyalari va javob strategiyalari tahlil qilinadi.
