Ushbu maqolada Jasmin Darznikning «Qafasdagi qush nidosi» romani feministik nazariya va gender diskursi nuqtai nazaridan o‘rganiladi. Tadqiqotda Eleyn Shouolterning metodologiyasi, Gayatri Chakravorti Spivakning subaltern konsepsiyasi va Simona de Bovuarning «ikkinchi jins» nazariyasi asosiy tahlil vositasi sifatida qo‘llaniladi. «Qafas» ramziy tizimining badiiy funksiyasi, patriarxal tuzum mexanizmlarining matn ichidagi ko‘rinishlari va bosh qahramonning mazlumlikdan ijodiy erkinlikka bosib o‘tgan transformatsiya yo‘li maqolaning markaziy muammolari sifatida belgilanadi.
