Mazkur maqolada kar va zaif eshituvchi o‘quvchilarda nonutqiy (atrof-muhit tovushlari, musiqa elementlari va turli signallar) hamda nutqiy (fonema, bo‘g‘in, so‘z va gap) tovushlarni eshitib farqlash darajalarini o‘rganish usullari ilmiy-pedagogik jihatdan tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqotda eshitish idrokini baholashning an’anaviy va zamonaviy metodlari, xususan, kuzatuv, diagnostik testlar, maxsus logopedik mashqlar, audiometrik tekshiruvlar hamda vizual qo‘llab-quvvatlash texnologiyalaridan foydalanish yoritilgan. Shuningdek, o‘quvchilarning individual xususiyatlari, eshitish qoldig‘i darajasi va psixofiziologik holatiga mos yondashuvlar asoslab beriladi. Natijalar kar va zaif eshituvchi bolalarda tovushlarni differensial idrok etish ko‘nikmalarini rivojlantirishda kompleks yondashuv zarurligini ko‘rsatadi. Maqola natijalari maxsus ta’lim tizimida samarali diagnostika va korreksion-pedagogik ishlarni tashkil etishda muhim ahamiyat kasb etadi.
