Maqolada vazifaga asoslangan til o‘qitish (TBLT) yondashuvining nazariy asoslari, amaliy imkoniyatlari va uni joriy etishda uchraydigan muammolar tahlil qilinadi. Vazifaga asoslangan til o‘qitish real hayotiy vazifalar orqali til o‘rgatishga qaratilgan bo‘lib, talabalarning kommunikativ kompetensiyasi, motivatsiyasi hamda amaliy ko‘nikmalarini rivojlantiradi. Tadqiqotlar natijasi ushbu yondashuvning og‘zaki nutq, tinglab tushunish va hamkorlik ko‘nikmalarini oshirishda samarali ekanini ko‘rsatadi. Shu bilan birga, katta guruhlar, resurslar yetishmasligi va o‘qituvchi tayyorgarligi bilan bog‘liq omillar vazifaga asoslangan til o‘qitishni samarali qo‘llashga ta’sir ko‘rsatadi.
