Zamonaviy tilshunoslikda til va madaniyatning o‘zaro bog'lanishi shubhasiz bo‘lib, til nafaqat fikrlarni ifodalovchi tizim sifatida, balki his-tuyg'ularni ham aks ettiruvchi, ularni shakllantiruvchi va madaniy kontekstda talqin etuvchi vosita sifatida qaralmoqda, bunda insonning ratsional va emotsional sohalari o‘zaro ta'sirlanib, til orqali insonning nutqiy faoliyatida namoyon bo‘ladi, chunki tilning emotsional komponenti inson psixikasining murakkab jarayonlarini jamiyatning madaniy normalari bilan bog'laydi.
